In a zoo in Holland, a modern day Macbeth unfolds. Hominid is based on the true story of conspiracy, murder and suicide captured by Frans de Waal, PhD, in Chimpanzee Politics.
The Lunatics and Out of Hand return this story to the great outdoors, in a spectacular depiction of the politics, intrigue and capacity for empathy we share with the other great apes. Science and Art collide in this international, location theatre collaboration.
