What is a book circle?
A book circle is a more inclusive form of conversation/exploring a text. Rather than having one leader or moderator, book circles are meant to create a democratic form of sharing. Roles will shift each meeting. But don't worry! We'll send out a guide!
Why a circle?

How many people will be in a circle?
Four to five.
How often will they meet?
Once a week. The book is a 28-day workbook, so you'll be four times over the course of a month.
Do I have to attend all four meetings?
We hope that you will make your best effort to. If you know you can only commit to one of the four meetings because of previously scheduled events, it might not be the best time to join a circle. However, we know that we're living in uncertain times. Things come up, and you might have to miss a meeting. We are also designing ways for you to participate online through a private Facebook group.
Will you assign me to a circle?
We will! We hope to have all groups assigned by June 29th.
Can I choose who's in my circle?
Sure. There is a spot below to indicate if you would like to be placed in a group with a friend or multiple friends.
Where do I buy the book?
The book is currently on back order- which is great! Lots of people have wanted to interrogate their relationship to white supremacy! But go ahead and pre-order it from a local bookstore or online!
