See You
Child Sex Trafficking Awareness and Prevention in Georgia Middle Schools
Help Us Deliver See You to Georgia Children!
Over 300 children are trafficked every month in Georgia, most for the first time between the ages of 12 and 14. See You will arm Georgia students, schools, and families with the knowledge to recognize and disrupt sexual exploitation, through a non-threatening, entertaining, educational program, at their schools. We need to raise $150,000 to roll out the program to 100 Georgia middle schools next school year.
Child Sex Trafficking Awareness and Prevention in Georgia Middle Schools
See You is a community-based program for middle schools and families, with teacher, staff, and family education, and a program for students. See You features an original film or live play in the form of a fairytale, a facts video, parent/teacher training, program guides, and hotline cards for students.
Next Steps
The pilot program of See You will serve 10 Georgia middle schools in Spring 2022. The roll out is planned for 100 Georgia middle schools in 2022/23. Our goal is to reach every Georgia 6th grader by 2025, then replicate the program in other states.
