Through art, Atlantans can examine our complex history and raise awareness of social determinants affecting health such as food insecurity, racial discrimination, environmental factors, and income disparity. We hope to inspire action and build partnerships to create positive change for all of us.

Equitable Dinners brings together strangers and friends from diverse backgrounds to talk about complex issues like race over a meal, fueled by theater. Connect and be inspired to build a more equitable Atlanta in this transformational experience.

About Thriving Together:

Thriving Together Atlanta represents an innovative collaboration between the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs , the CDC Foundation, National Black Arts Festival, and Out of Hand Theater, aimed at tackling the pressing issues of health disparities, inequities, and the impact of racism on public health. This collaborative effort engages communities through the power of arts and culture, to educate, empower, and mobilize individuals towards positive action.

Thriving Together Atlanta serves as a model of how cross-sector partnerships can address the multifaceted issues affecting communities today. Learn more at www.thrivingtogetheratlanta.org

About Equitable Dinners:

Equitable Dinners Atlanta is a collaborative partnership of Out of Hand Theater, The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Fulton County Remembrance Coalition and many other community partners. Launched by a short one person play, Equitable Dinners invites everyone into a shared experience of the pains and the joys of life. Participants are then guided in a facilitated conversation and share together how they can make a positive difference. Guests leave with a deeper connection with others, hopeful about the future and their role in it. Learn more at www.equitabledinners.com.
