MEET THE TEAM: ARIEL FRISTOE

The founder and the Artistic Director of Out of Hand Theater, Ariel is one of the main faces of the company, and usually the main face you’ll see at almost any event related to Out of Hand. She represents the theater both locally and nationally, as well as maintaining meaningful relationships across Atlanta’s theater and business communities. In addition, Ariel works in conjunction with many of the duties performed by everyone on the team, overseeing many facets of the organization. However, some of her most important duties include planning the season for all of the Out of Hand programs (including Equitable Dinners, Shows in Homes, and Community Collaborations), educating others in the Institute of Equity Activism, and ensuring Out of Hand meets their financial and strategic goals. Her passion and drive for social justice and civil rights allows her to do all of this and even more with a smile that is always ready to greet and welcome you into the Out of Hand family.
